We are pleased to announce that Dr. William J. Flynn, M.D., O.D., has joined Rashid and Rice Eye Associates. He will provide comprehensive ophthalmology services and specializes in the treatment of glaucoma.
We are both very excited about this association, not only because of Dr. Flynn’s national recognition as a leader in glaucoma management and surgery, but also because of his excellent reputation as a caring physician. Dr. Flynn not only served as the Chief Ophthalmologist in the Air Force, but also managed and oversaw training programs and specialties at the Air Forces’ top teaching hospital. We have anticipated his retirement from the Air Force for some time and know that his expertise will benefit referring physicians and their patients for years to come. We have included a biographical sketch that provides additional information regarding his extensive background.
Dr. Flynn will see patients at three locations, including our main clinic on Fredericksburg Road on the Northwest side of town, and our satellite clinics on the South side of San Antonio and in Kerrville.
Dr. Flynn participates in many humanitarian missions and devotes time regularly to care for our area’s needy individuals through his work with I Care San Antonio.
Our practice is extremely fortunate to have Dr. Flynn in our medical practice! Dr. Flynn and his team of certified ophthalmic technicians will provide knowledgeable, caring, medical services to the patients of Rashid and Rice Eye Associates.
